Another type of stomach system is the poultry stomach system. It is different than ruminant and non-ruminant stomach systems. One thing that a poultry stomach system includes but ruminant and non-ruminant stomach systems do not is the gizzard. They also have something else called a crop which neither of the others have either. Poultry stomach systems also have a vent. It is commonly used for poop or eggs. Both ruminant and non-ruminant stomach systems include the small and large intestines while the poultry stomach system only includes the small intestine. One, more obvious than others, difference is that in ruminant and non-ruminant stomachs the animals have mouths. While in poultry stomach systems, the animals have beaks, and no teeth. A couple more things that a poultry stomach system includes that ruminant and non-ruminant stomach systems do not are The gall bladder, the ceca, and the cloaca.
